Com o intuito de aumentar a visibilidade de seu acervo, nos últimos dois anos, o GAM de Turim tem alternado uma série de exposições temáticas apresentando suas obras mais valiosas.
With the intention to enhance the visibility of its collection, in the past two years the Turin GAM has alternated a series of thematic exhibitions showcasing its most valuable works.
Nessa linha está a próxima exposição Strangers (Desconhecidos), solicitada por Riccardo Passoni e hospedada nos espaços da área de exposição no primeiro andar do museu.
Along this line is the upcoming exhibition Strangers, requested by Riccardo Passoni and hosted in the spaces of the Exhibition Area on the first floor of the museum.
O programa vai oferecer aos visitantes a oportunidade de descobrir uma parte importante de ricas coleções do museu, enquanto investiga a história de sua política de aquisições, em particular no que diz respeito a arte "estrangeira".
The show will offer visitors the chance to discover an important portion of the museum’s rich collections, while investigating the history of its acquisition policy, in particular for what concerns “foreign” art.
É graças a esta política que, ao longo dos anos, a GAM se tornou um dos principais museus de arte contemporânea na Itália e entre os mais renomados na Europa.

A partir deste período em particular, estão as obras de Anna Eva Bergman e Gerard Schneider, e as fotografias soberbas de Irving Penn, impressões originais de prata gelatina doados ao GAM pelo próprio fotógrafo.
From this particular period are the works by Anna Eva Bergman and Gerard Schneider, and the superb photographs by Irving Penn, original gelatine silver prints donated to the GAM by the photographer himself.
